By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree not to direct any claims arising from service cessation or bankruptcy declarations by any third-party provider towards Skyceylon.
All prices are subject to change until full payment is received and are contingent upon availability from airlines or travel service providers.
If you make a purchase in a currency different from the one associated with your credit card, your financial institution may charge a currency conversion fee.
As per Skyceylon's standard pricing policy, prices for all carriers include taxes and fees during the booking process. Fares are quoted in the relevant foreign currency with a courtesy conversion provided. While this conversion is accurate at the time of booking, the actual amount charged to your credit card may vary slightly due to currency fluctuations between booking and ticketing by the airline, currency conversion fees levied by your financial institution, or other factors.
In rare instances, generally within 24 hours of reservation, travel providers may reject reservations made through the Skyceylon website. In such cases, Skyceylon will make every effort to offer you a viable alternative at the same or lower price as originally quoted.
Due to occasional last-minute schedule changes by airlines, Skyceylon strongly recommends confirming each of your flights with the respective airline(s) 2-3 days before your scheduled departure.
Non-transactional information provided on the Skyceylon site, such as destination information, is offered in good faith and should be regarded as a general guide only.
Individual travelers are solely responsible for ensuring that all documentation and health requirements are met.
Adding a Name to Air Ticket Booking
- Accuracy of Information: By adding a name to an air ticket booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about the individual whose name is being added.
- Authorization: You confirm that you have the authority to add the name to the air ticket booking and that the individual whose name is being added has consented to their inclusion on the booking.
- Responsibility: You acknowledge that any changes made to the booking, including adding a name, are your responsibility, and you agree to bear any associated costs or fees.
- Verification: You understand that the airline may require verification of the identity of the individual whose name is added to the booking and agree to provide any necessary documentation or information as requested.
- Non-Transferability: You acknowledge that adding a name to an air ticket booking does not transfer ownership of the ticket or booking to the individual whose name is added. The original purchaser retains all rights and responsibilities associated with the booking.
Prices and payment methods
Once you have chosen the travel services you wish to order, you will be presented with the total price of your order along with a detailed breakdown. This occurs before you are legally bound by any contract or required to make any payment. The total price will encompass the cost of all selected travel services, including any optional services, as well as Skyceylon service fees. It's important to note that these service fees charged by Skyceylon are non-refundable. This is because they are incurred for the mediation services provided by Skyceylon, which are fulfilled upon confirmation of your booking.
Cancelation, changes and Refund Policy
The terms and conditions regarding changes or cancellations of bookings and purchases will differ depending on the specific product or service.
In general, reservations made for products and services through the Skyceylon website will typically be subject to penalties and/or fees for changes and/or cancellations, as determined by the providers of the products and services, as well as by Skyceylon itself.
The terms of carriage provided by airlines include details about schedule changes and other flight disruptions.
If an airline ticket is eligible for a refund, the total cancellation cost will comprise any applicable charges from the airline and fees from Skyceylon. Although Skyceylon offers estimates for refunds based on its interpretation of fare rules, the final amount is determined by the airline. The processing time for airline refund payments can range from 4 to 12 weeks, with longer durations for certain airlines.
Many airfares are non-changeable and non-refundable. Some airfares allow changes for a fee but remain non-refundable. Additionally, Skyceylon booking fees are non-refundable.
Additionally, you agree not to initiate a chargeback against Skyceylon through your credit card issuer or other merchant facility provider. You must contact Skyceylon customer service to initiate the refund. In the unlikely event that your travel plans are impacted by a third-party cessation of service, Skyceylon will assist you in making alternate plans or attempting to recover your funds from the third-party provider.
During the booking process, Skyceylon will endeavor to inform you of any change or cancellation penalties. However, if the information displayed on the website is incomplete or absent, you should reach out to Skyceylon Customer Service for clarification. It is advisable not to proceed with a booking if you are uncertain about the provided information or if you have not fully determined the applicable cancellation and/or change penalties for the reservation you are about to make.
Passport, visas and health requirements
It is essential that you thoroughly verify passport and visa requirements with the appropriate embassy well in advance. It is your responsibility to ensure you possess a valid passport and, if necessary, a visa. Skyceylon cannot be held accountable under any circumstances if you fail to have the correct travel documents or permissions.
Each destination has unique requirements regarding entry formalities, vaccinations, etc., and these may differ based on the passenger's nationality. We advise you to acquire this information before organizing your trip. Skyceyloncannot be held liable for any incidents arising from customers failing to adhere to these official requirements.
